Karl Forbes

Karl rejoined Xaar in 2022 having previously worked at Xaar for a period in the early 2000s where, amongst other things, Karl was one of the team developing Xaar’s patented TF Technology.  Karl started his career within the R&D team at Videojet working within the Continuous Inkjet Printing industry and has also worked at Inca Digital as their R&D Projects Director.

Outside of industrial inkjet, Karl has also managed development teams within the telecoms industry and worked at Cambridge Consultants managing teams developing highly innovative technology solutions with a strong customer focus.

Following on from last year’s talk at the FuturePrint Tech conference when Xaar shared the many benefits of its Ultra High Viscosity Technology, Xaar returns to FuturePrint Tech this year to share significant progress from the field.  Karl Forbes, Group R&D Director, and Neil Cook, Business Development Manager (Ink), will provide a brief overview of a range of applications that are taking advantage of high viscosity fluids.
